Montréal, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 – Last night, on the set of En mode Salvail, Sugar Sammy and Simon Olivier Fecteau happily announced that there will be a second season for their series Ces gars-là !
A weekly average of 531,600 viewers followed the adventures of Sam and Simon this winter on V. In addition, the roughly 820,000 views of the program on vtele.ca since the beginning of the season demonstrate the extent of audience interest in this funny yet moving show, produced by Zone3 – A Média.
“The return of fiction on V represented the cornerstone of a period of investment and growth at the company. We are delighted by our audience’s reaction and by the enthusiasm generated by the series, both on television and on the web. The success of the show rests largely on the talent of Sugar Sammy and Simon Olivier Fecteau, and we are thrilled to be getting them back for a second season. It is with great pleasure that we will include them in our schedule for 2014-2015”, said Nathalie Brigitte Bustos, Head of Programming and Strategic Content Director at V.
On the season finale, Simon had decided to pop the question to Amélie! But when he arrived at her house, he caught Sam kissing her. What will Sam do to win back his best friend’s trust? V’s viewers will have to wait until winter 2015 to find out!
