Montréal (Dec 27, 2017) – Before New Year’s Eve, we had to add a few more shows to kick off 2018. Because, as we say at Sugar Sammy HQ: On ne chôme pas! And France can’t get enough of this Québecois.

After selling over 25,000 tickets in France, at the Point-Virgule, Européen and Alhambra theatres in Paris and on tour around France, Sugar Sammy’s success with the French continues. He’s adding more shows at l’Alhambra in the new year, in May and June 2018. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Dec 28) at 10 am Central European Time.

In February and March 2018 he hits the road on a tour that will take him to Nantes, Lille, Saint-Étienne, Nice, Rennes, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lyon, Brussels (Belgium and Geneva (Switzerland). Switzerland will be the 31st country in which he’s performed and we’ll see if they can remain neutral after his visit!

Montreal fans will have a chance to see what Sugar Sammy’s learned in France, with secret shows in February 2018. The shows are sold out but more shows may be added, you never know! Fans must sign up by sending an email to secretshow@sugarsammy.com to be informed if more shows go on sale. They’ll have to react quickly because the shows sold out within 90 minutes of being announced. But that’s all we can say – because they’re secret! He’ll also spend some time in Montreal doing private, corporate shows, which can still be booked.

Sugar Sammy has performed 1600 shows including bilingual, English and French shows on his You’re Gonna Rire/En français s.v.p.! tour. He toured Canada this past fall with Alonzo Bodden & Gina Brillon on the JFL Comedy Tour; performed 2 sold out galas at the Just For Laughs Festival as well as embarking on a 40-city US tour this summer; and performed the finale of You’re Gonna Rire in front of 115,000 people at the Juste pour rire/Just For Laughs festival in 2016. His popular “Improv Moments” have captivated audiences online – with over 23 million views.
